They will increase the price without notice warning after you join in. Basically you will become their cash cow. I don’t recommend any people use them.
The service was good (granted, i was only using it for WordPress shenanigans, and not even a huge amount of that), and the INITAL price was good. When i first signed up, it cost me about $60 for the year, which gave me unlimited space/traffic etc. and a free domain name (which is about average for the big hosts these days). BUT BE WARNED, if you plan to stay with them beyond your initial invoice period (i.e. 1, 2, or 3 years, based on what you signed up for) you will get lumped with a 100% increase in hosting price on your second invoice. I just got an invoice for MORE than twice what i initially paid. They have automatic payments set up as default (though they don’t tell you that – you have to dig through the small print), and they charge your credit card a week BEFORE the invoice is even due, with no warning email, and there’s a 2 week wait on account cancellations. So, overall – good/average service, but as far as their claim of no nonsense and no hidden fees?
I am a 53 year old horse trainer and purchased hosting from Just Host. They say “I am SPAMMING”.
I do not use a auto responder nor do I have a mailing list. The person they say I am spamming I can’t even find an email I sent to. I keep all my corospondance with clients. Just host will not even take the time to investigate this matter. All I get from them is please upgrade your service and we will respond to you faster and right now we will give you a 50% discount. That is all the response I get from them. They have sorry customer service and the site is not user friendly. I have not receiver a refund for the time I have left with them either.
It looked a good deal and was easy to set up, then you guessed, I had an email to say using too much server and account suspended.
One of 4 accounts were suspended for good, then it happened to others until I threatened that i wanted to make a complaint. So 3 active accounts, next were messages on one of the plans that i had not paid, i had set up payments with paypal. Hosting kept asking for payments over internet so paid to keep my hosting going. Sent proof that i paid, and proof of the over payments, guess what they suspended my account.
It took me 5 months and threats of reporting their english office to the fsa before i was refunded all the over payments that had been paid, oh and a threat that if they could not see the overpayments, that their accounts needed looking at by an official body. That worked best of all and I got an immediate refund, within minutes!
Now after having no accounts for several months they have taken money from my credit card, even though on advice from my cc card company that I email them and tell them not to take any more money, they took $19.95 for faster server, for hosting i do not have. This is surely theft, a refund has been issued after around 5 emails of complaint for $3.60.
I am now happily with hostmonster and havent had a problem in the last 5 months, found them helpful when i had a problem with another hacker, and they have so far been excellent.
I’m pretty new to the world of website setup, but using Justhost has made for an easy beginning. Although my site is not quite ready for heavy duty traffic because I am still setting it up.
I know that when I start to have visitors, my friends and family will be very impressed! They’ll think I hired a pro, and I’m considering not making them privy to the truth! I’ve been very impressed with the level of professionalism and courtesy that the people at JustHost have shown me, and for a novice like me, that’s priceless. If you are looking for a web hosting service that offers the cheapest rates, go for JustHost. If you just need a free domain and unlimited web hosting services, then you will definitely get a good deal. Just do not expect anything fancy.
JustHost also provides unlimited storage and transfer, and unlimited emails. However, there are some technical specifications that might not be supported. If you are not sure if they can support what you need, call customer support first or ask around because once you have signed up and decide to cancel the account, the $20 setup fee will not be refunded.
I Made the Right Choice
I was trying to look for another web hosting service because I did not have a very pleasant experience with my previous one. Some of my friends on a forum I frequent who also have an online business recommended JustHost so I checked out what they have to offer.
I thought I was being scammed! I did not believe that they could offer such a low rate and boast of a lot of features and a very fast server. I was immediately enticed by JustHost’s offer: at $3.45 a month, you can get free domain for life, unlimited hosting, unlimited storage and transfer, unlimited email addresses and unlimited MySQL databases. I thought I was getting the best deal ever.
Unfortunately, my overall experience is not that a hundred percent pleasing at all. I had trouble transferring my domain to them. It was a good thing that their customer support was just a call away. Still, I think I am going to stick with this company for a while but if I ever experience a similar problem too soon, then I might just change my mind.
JustHost Free Trial Is not Free
I wanted to try JustHost first before paying a hefty amount for a long-term service. I wanted to avail of their cheapest deal which is just $3.45 a month. But in order to do that I would have to pay for 48 months or around $165, so I wanted to try first if I am getting my money’s worth.
However, it was too late when I found out that the $20 set up fee was non-refundable. I simply assumed that since it’s a free trial, I will not have to pay anything. Now, I lost $20 and since you can only access limited features, I still do not know if I should sign up for JustHost or not.

I have an online business which is running for several years already. I have also tried a lot of web hosting services ad have seen some good and bad companies. The last service I used was one of the most terrible services I got so I decided to look for another.
At first, I thought the package being offered by JustHost is too good to be true. But since I have nothing left to lose, I decided to go for their cheapest package with unlimited service and a free domain which is around $3.50 a month.

What’s Up with JustHost Customer Support?
Recently, I signed up for JustHost web hosting services. Who would not want to pay $3.45 a month for a free domain and unlimited email address, domain hosting, storage and transfer? The minute I saw the deal I went ahead and signed up for their cheapest deal.
I did not know I was in for a big surprise. When I tried calling customer support for assistance in transferring my domain, I did not get a response until several days later. Now, I have to struggle setting up my website on my own because I am unsure if I can totally rely on their customer support.
I hope they can do something about the type of service they give if they want to stay in business.

I was so happy to get a 50% discount from JustHost. Here’s how:
Go to JustHost’s homepage and click on Sign Up. Complete Step 1 and proceed to Step 2. Once you are on that page, attempt to close your browser. A small window will pop up asking you to leave or stay on that page. Click on Stay on Page and a new window will pop up giving you the option to go back to the signup page. This time, all rates are reduced by 50%. I think I paid about 4.00 or something
Do this when you are ready to sign up because the offer is just good for one day.
Is JustHost a Smart Choice?
With so many web hosting companies out there, I had a hard time trying to determine which one offers the best deal. One choice to consider is JustHost. JustHost offers a competitive price, but price isn’t really the reason I chose Justhost. Like many others, It also offers unlimited storage, domain hosting, and email accounts. But again so do many others. Honestly, I just chose them because at the time they were competitive in service, but the price was quite a bit better.
Some users say that the technical support given by the company is not that good. A friend of mine had to wait for a couple of days before getting a response. In some instances, you will not get any response at all. Also make sure that before signing up, you are able to check if the company does not have any hidden fees.
I haven’t had any issues so far. I’ll see how it goes from here.
